We continue with the drama unfolding for Zach Anner, a comedian with cerebral palsy, and Oprah’s television show contest potentially being rigged against him. Oprah has had a contest for a chance to host your own television show series on Oprah’s new tv network OWN! As part of this contest, people have been submitting videos of themselves from all over the world, and anyone that drop by the Oprah website get to vote daily. Zach Anner was in first place by a landslide and has had his votes changed dramatically downwards more than once with many people online taking snapshots or commenting. (see previous blog about Zach Anner and Oprah Contest being Rigged) Now the contest results have been posted on her website, and the results have made our jaw drop. In the final results, Zach Anner ranks #7.
Even more jaw-dropping… you can actually still see where Zach is/was leading everyone by millions of votes on another page of Oprah’s own website.

Regardless of being #7, Zach will get a chance to head to Los Angeles for the final round of auditions. The upcoming Oprah Winfrey Network and producer Mark Burnett said they were “so pleased with the turnout that they extended the intitial invitation to the top five vote-getters to an additional three — including Zach Anner.” So total now, there will be 5 online winners, 35 on location winners, and 3 additional “fan favorites” picked online.
It’s seemingly apparent that Zach Anner has been a fan favorite all along, and the votes have been unaccounted.
Oprah – what are you and/or your people doing?

[...] Oprah was in the news earlier this year with Zach Anner, a comedian with cerebral palsy who tried out for her tv show. Anner mysteriously lost 6.5 million votes on the voting area of Oprah’s website, and a few tech savvy users discovered that the voting button was different for Zach Anner than it was for the other contestants. AMS Vans also captured a screenshot of the voting differences on one of several blog posts we have about Zach Anner and the Oprah allegations in a previous blog post here: http://www.amsvans.com/blog/1483-zach-anner-loses-6-5-million-votes-on-oprah-contest/ [...]

It may have been rigged, although I doubt it, but if it was- think of all the exposure everyone got, which could open the back door for people.

Oprah says:
“This is how I looked when I had a dream about a giant delicious cheeseburger!”
“My head is this big!”
“Peek-a-boo!”
